7 Months!

Age - 7 Months

Height - 27 inches

Weight - 15 lbs 13 oz (According to the WII)

Sleeping Habits - Back into her own room again. I stole a fan from my parents house, so that helps with the noise issue.

Eating Habits - Still being breastfed by mum with formula supplement to make her grow. We have cereal in the morning and a 1/3 of a jar at night. We are supposed to let her try something for three days before switching to something else to see for allergies. We figured that doing 1/3 of a jar gives us three days to watch.

Teeth - We think she is teething. But still no teeth. Poor child. She has rosy checks all the time it seems.

Milestones - She sits amazingly on her own. She makes a clicky sound with her tongue now. We went to the States again. She can make a sound that sounds like dada.

6 Months

Age - 6 Months

Height - 26 inches

Weight - 15 lbs 1 oz

Sleeping Habits - We moved her into her own room this past month, and she is already back in our room. We tried having her in her own crib, and she did great some nights, others not so much. She got her first cold on the 17th of January, and after that she has not slept well in her own room. We think we need to add some music or noise to her room since our room has a fan and music and hers has nothing. Hopefully we can figure out the best combination for her in order for her to sleep well in her own room.

Eating Habits - Still being breastfed by mum with formula supplement to make her grow. We have also added Rice cereal as well as Oatmeal cereal. She didn't like the rice cereal without formula so we add it and she loves it. When she turned six months old, we also gave her some sweet potatoes which she loved as well.

Teeth - We think she is teething. But still no teeth. Poor child. She has rosy checks all the time it seems.

Milestones - She is pretty good at sitting on her own, she still needs someone behind her just in case, but she can do it for awhile now. However, she would much rather stand. As mentioned she has started solids, tried sleeping in her own room, as well as had her first cold. On the 14 she said mum. It melted my heart.

Milestones - She is getting better at rolling She can now roll from her back to her tummy. She will reach for toys by rolling to them. She had her first Xmas at her Grandma and Grandpa S's house. Milestones - She went to the States again. Aunt Anne baby sat her (who is a family friend, so first non-relative to baby sit), and Aunt Anne put her in her jolly jumper. We rolled onto our side, started to hold up head better. Giggled for mum (after Grandma K of course). She rolled from her tummy to her back both ways. Started to do raspberries, as well as a clicky sound (which lasted for like a week).

2 Months!

Age - 2 months.

Height - The nurse had her at 21.5 inches, our inch worm at home says 23 inches. Honestly, I don't know who is right

Weight - 10 lbs 3 oz

Sleeping Habits - We went away last Monday, took my parents pack & play which she has never slept in, and she slept through the night both nights. Since being home, only 2 nights did she not sleep through the night. It is amazing.

Eating Habits - Still being breastfed by mum with formula supplement to make her grow.

Teeth - None for awhile

Milestones - She is starting to smile more. She is still such a serious child. She is getting so strong at holding her head up. She had her 2 month shots today and she took them well. She is now cuddling with daddy. I will update this later with a two month shot. She found her feet and loves to just sit and watch them now. She also is turning into a little bubble maker.
